Re-envisioning the World Electronic Music Festival's (WEMF) identity system provided an exciting opportunity in the form of a distinct challenge; how do you visualize the intangible atmosphere that is WEMF? The solution was clear - develop an identity system that reflects the event's vibrant community of party-goers and energetic musical sub-culture. The re-envisioned identity is translated across multiple printed touch points including a festival poster, program tickets, and wristbands. All text is bi-lingual appearing in both English and French for Canada-wide accessibility. The final solution interprets the core of the festival - it's music and party atmosphere - to evoke the allure of the experience in all of its printed promotional material.
